OK, so this is me duck racing in Deming in August. How much do I love New Mexico? Seriously, Kentucky loves some fair fun that involves animals, but they could learn a thing or two from duck racers.
First, charge people money to put their hands on stinky animals. They will do it.
Second, choose a sport that depends more on the intelligence of the animal than the human. Who wants to think hard (or is capable after stuffing themselves with corndogs and cotton candy) at the fair?
I hope this is only the beginning of my fair fun here in the Land of Enchantment. Stay tuned.
